Well, to get started there are several things that you can do to get your website noticed. The most important thing you need to do is post. Keep posting and providing valuable content. By doing so you will provide enough sticky content to visitors that will entice them to keep returning to your website. Here is a breakdown of some other things you should consider when it comes to getting your website noticed:
1. Ping
You should ping your website to the search engines every time you update your website. By doing so it will help your blog get indexed and noticed by some of the major search engines because you are constantly updating. Ping-O-Matic is a great source to consider.
2. Be Active
Be active in whatever topic your website is based on. Go to other sites, submit comments and try to participate in discussions. Links will help you build site popularity and links to your website is important when it comes to search engine traffic.
